Advice

The technical expertise offered by Rift Valley Osmotics in the region is unique: the technical team is sought after for advice in all aspects design and operation of reverse osmosis and ultra-filtration technologies.

Our use of standard computer modelling and proprietary software allows us to optimise local and foreign manufactured systems, giving our customers what they need, rather than only what is available.

We are also experienced in dealing with problems that our customers have encountered as their source water chemistry changes.

RVO has also installed solar-powered systems and has competence in desalination (including solar-powered desalination). Additionally, it is an equipment distributor and service provider for the global market-leading desalination manufacturer.

Repair & Rehabilitation

We are capable of repairing failed or damaged systems and sub-units that other providers may write off, as our extensive experience goes back to the original deployments of membrane systems in commercial entities. For most systems regardless of age or type, we are able to provide services around:

designing life-extending changes
rehabilitation and improvement of older systems

Maintenance

With over ten years of experience in building and operating ultra-filtration and reverse osmosis systems, RVO prides itself on providing excellent service to our customers. We work to give our customers’ systems a high operating availability, with the knowledge that downtime can mean loss of crops, expensive substitution and significant impact on their customers.

Our outsourced maintenance services can cover all, or part, of your water treatment systems either as a contracted service or on a callout basis.

Financing

We are conscious that some of our customers need our services at short notice and without having budgeted for major repairs or entire system replacement. Unlike most providers in the sector, we try to understand the financial situation of our customers to ensure that we find the optimal solution for them. We have access to funding that will allow leasing arrangements to be put in place, reducing the impact of obtaining a new system, stabilising cashflows and moving assets off the balance sheet. If appropriate, we can also look at ‘sale and leaseback’ of assets or other financial options.
